With iPads becoming the platform for all work and play, the memory requirements for these tablets are also on the rise. To satisfy this demand, Apple has launched a 128GB iPad, better known as iPad 4, which has memory space double to that of its present largest model.
This muscular looking iPad will be available to the customers from Monday. The demand of iPad has already been quite high and with Apple Offering this large space for music, games and apps, it is sure to make users go crazy to obtain this beauty.
The cheapest model of this 128 GB iPad series will come with a recommended retail price of £639, launched by the company at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The most expensive one, integrated with 3G connectivity and Wi-Fi will come at an RRP of £739. This model will be just £110 cheaper than the Apple’s MacBook Air Laptop Computer.
Microsoft has recently launched its 128 GB memory tablet called the Surface Pro Tablet. This upgrade by Apple to the 128GB clan makes it a competitor in the 128 GB series after it had stopped at 64GB version earlier. But what is going to make the iPad 4 win this competition is that Surface Pro tablet although has 128 GB, 45 GB is taken by Windows 8 and so only 83 GB of space is available to the users.
The new version – 128 GB iPad 4 comes with 9.7 inch retina display and a FaceTime Camera having HD features. Moreover, this is the fastest tablet made by Apple till date.
This news of the new version by Apple being launched has been released in a week where there are already many events. RIM is launching its Blackberry 10 tomorrow and Microsoft launched its touchscreen version of Office software today.
