4. Embedded Security Software:
This approach of password manager is less commonly employed. There is need of embedded hardware on your computer and saving the data in encrypted form. Lenovo’s T-series and ThinkPad provide a chipset on the motherboard called the Embedded Security Subsystem. If there is a high risk of physical hacking in your PC, then this type of password manager is best suited.
Working of password manager
To perform its function of saving and remembering all the passwords that a user doesn’t need to, it store all the information in an encrypted file. All the passwords and pin codes are thus protected by that encrypted film from attackers with physical access to a desktop or mobile device.
The file is accessible only through the use of master password. That means a user just need to remember only one password that of password manager, then all the other passwords, bank details and credit card information linked to you will be remembered by this software.
